Our success stories
Customer projects
We are proud to have already strengthened the health of employees in a number of companies. We would like to share some of these success stories with you here. We want to show you ways in which exoskeletons can also be used profitably in your company.

Exoskeletons at Miba Sinter AG
"We use the technology wisely"
MIBA AG successfully utilises the Edero from Armon Products: EU studies show that musculoskeletal disorders are on the rise and are not recognised as an occupational disease due to the national legal situation. As a result, it is necessary to "do more preventatively", says Sotirios Delis, safety specialist at Miba Sinter Austria in Vorchdorf. Following a prior evaluation phase in the summer months of 2019, passive exoskeletons were procured last year for an initial six employees in the toolmaking forging department.
Funding was obtained for this from the Chamber of Labour's Work 4.0 digitalisation fund. According to the company, this means that a solution has now been introduced that expands the repertoire of occupational health and safety - previously comprising ergonomic counselling and balancing exercises - to include "dynamic, gravity-reducing technical work equipment".
WOLF Systembau GmbH
Exoskeletons as work support
WOLF is one of the first companies in the Construction industrywhich provides this form of support to employees in the production halls at the Scharnstein site. Around 40 exoskeletons are already in use. From prefabricated house production and hall construction to nail plate production, employees now have the opportunity to use exoskeletons in their work on a voluntary basis. They are primarily intended to support employees in overhead work and lifting activities.
For several months, awb has been scrutinising the possible applications at the various workstations. Adapted to the respective workplace, the exoskeletons are intended to make work easier for employees and support loads that arise, unless this is already ensured by aids such as cranes or plate lifters.
HARTL HAUS Holzindustrie GmbH
"Avoid injuries & illnesses"
HARTL HAUS employees in production and assembly have been supported with exoskeletons for several weeks now. These "strength enhancers" reduce physical strain by supporting muscles and the skeleton and facilitating an ergonomic posture. The Zwettl-based food wholesaler KASTNER also sees potential in exoskeletons in its business areas and has looked at the areas of application for the "strength enhancers" at HARTL HAUS.
The Paexo Shoulder exoskeleton is ideal for supporting and relieving employees during overhead work. Using mechanical aids such as spring or pulley systems, these devices absorb any strain that occurs and can reduce the effort involved in lifting for the employee by up to forty per cent. Weighing just under two kilograms, the Paexo Shoulder exoskeleton can also be worn comfortably for several hours.
WOLF Systembau GmbH

Alfred Ritirc, Head of Process Management at Lenze Operations Austria, explains why exoskeletons are used for ergonomically demanding work at the Lenze production and logistics site in Asten.
