Strong, smart & sustainable

Bio Servo Ironhand 2.0

The Bio Servo Ironhand® strengthens the human grip, prevents strain injuries and reduces sick leave. This glove consists of an active soft exoskeleton that covers all five fingers and a supply unit that is carried in a rucksack. The glove is equipped with artificial tendons and pressure sensors. They trigger the servomotors installed in the device. These motors provide the operator with a particularly powerful grip. Thanks to customised configuration, the grip strength can be adapted to a specific work task.

Ironhand not only supports the operator, but also collects data for digital risk assessment, and assesses and identifies use cases with a potentially high ergonomic risk. The data is analysed using scientific risk assessment methods such as KIM/MHO and HAL/TLV. Based on the calculations, the operator's exposure risk is determined and Ironhand helps to minimise potential risks.

Adapted to our anatomy

The strengthening glove

At the heart of the Ironhand® system is the ingeniously designed glove, which is adapted to our anatomy and distributes the force to the fingers based on the pressure applied and the pre-set configuration. A lot of development has gone into the latest design, which is thinner, slimmer and more skilful.

Industry 4.0

Digital risk assessment

The Bio Serve Ironhand® collects data to enable a digital risk assessment that evaluates and identifies use cases with a potentially high ergonomic risk. The analysis provides an assessment of the operator's risk of developing strain injuries and the potential risk mitigation that Ironhand can contribute.

The data functions make it possible to connect the operator and integrate people into the concept. Industry 4.0/factory of the future.

Exoskeletons

Your path to the exoskeleton

Preventive products for physical support in various work processes. For more well-being, energy and therefore more performance.

in a nutshell

The Bioservo Ironhand is the world's first active, soft exoskeleton for the Hand. It consists of a glove that covers all five fingers and a power pack that is worn in a rucksack or on the hip. Sensors in the palm and fingers recognise hand movements and activate the system to increase grip strength in a natural way.

Advantages of the Bioservo Ironhand at a glance:

Less muscle strain: Supports the arm muscles when gripping and thus reduces physical strain during strenuous activities.
Increased productivity: By reducing fatigue, employees can work longer and more efficiently.
Reduced risk of injury: The support provided by the exoskeleton can reduce the risk of muscle injuries.

Areas of application for the Bioservo Ironhand:

Industry: Ideal for use in Logisticsproduction and warehousing, especially for gripping-intensive, repetitive or static work.
Construction industry: Supports workers in activities that require a lot of strain on the hand.

Technical data:

Weight of the system: Approx. 2.75 kg.
Glove sizes: Available in S, M, L and XL for both hands.
Battery life: Depending on the intensity of the work 6-8 hours.

Adaptability:

The Ironhand can be customised to adapt the force, sensitivity and other parameters to specific work tasks and personal preferences. This can be done using a remote control or the IronConnect Pro app.

Ergonomic solution for everyone:

To ensure an ergonomic solution for different body types and working positions, the Powerpack can be worn on the back or on the hips. Different sizes of gloves and carrying straps are also available.
